This site done by dj_blue1 What's Up I'm DJ Blue and I'm here to guide you to one of the most unique places in Southern California. I came to California 3 years ago to get away from the rat race known as New York City. I was the Deejay for a group of dance skaters in New York's Central Park. It was the ultimate outdoor party. Sunshine, good music, skating, and most of all beautiful people (mostly women). I didn't think there was anything better. That was until I got to Venice Beach. It was like Central Park at the beach. There were entertainers, artist, craftsman, body builders, bikinis, a little of everything you could think of. Then on my stroll along the boardwalk I heard music coming from a small paved area between the boardwalk and the beach. And to my surprise I saw a large crowd gathered watching a group of dance skaters. Wow was I in heaven or what? Skating? On the beach? I was in heaven. And to make things better I knew someone there, a friend I had skated with in New York now lived in Venice Beach. This would be my new skate home. And I hope in the future it will be yours also. As you can see this is a very popular place. People form all over the world come to Venice Beach. It's the second most visited tourist spot in southern california (second only to Disneyland). And when they're here the one place everyone stops at is the dance skaters party. Here they'll see some of the best skate dancers in the country if not the world. We have skaters from all walks of life. There are doctors, singers, lawyers, actors, professors, models, business owners, producers, writers, you name the profession and it's here. Were a family of all races, colors, religions, sexual preferences and genders. And there is no age limit here. The ages of the people here range from 6 years old to 80 years old. Hey check this out! As you can see we are a very diverse group. A group consisting of all ages, races and genders. We have people from Germany, France, Sweden, Africa, Asia and numerous other countries. We are not a member only club, anyone can skate with us. As a matter of fact we love having new skaters join us in our weekends of fun and sun. Wether you skate with Blades or Traditional Quad skates you're welcome to come to Venice Beach and skate with us. We start every saturday and sunday at 10 am and skate all day or 'til the sun goes down.There are all levels of skaters here, Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced, and of course our Star skaters. So if you're a beginner don't feel you can't get in the and have fun. We help each other learn new skate moves all the time and we'll help you to.
